What makes URSA’s water filtration system different?

URSA’s multi-stage filtration technology ensures the removal of impurities, chlorine, and harmful contaminants while maintaining essential minerals, providing fresh and safe drinking water onboard.

How often should I replace the filters?

Our system is designed to operate normally with 2.0 liters/min flow, with a replacement rate for pre-filters every month, and the 4-stage filters every 6 months.

Our packages come with enough spares to last 1 unit for 1 year of normal use.

Is the URSA water system suitable for all ship types?

URSA Essential Water Systems is suitable to all ship types and is recommended installed in 2-4 locations onboard depending on the size of the ship and the number of crew.

How can I get installation support?

URSA provides a detailed installation guide and technical support for seamless integration into your vessel’s potable water system.

Which ports can you attend to service Ballast Water Management Systems?

We can service any type of Ballast Water Management System (BWMS) worldwide, through a network of our own dedicated service team. Our experts are trained with the various manufacturers of BWMS and offer assistance in calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting and spare parts of BWMS.

Is the disinfection solution approved?

The activated solution is certified to EN 1276, EN 13697, EN 14476 and EN 16777 for  chemical disinfectants against bacteria and viruses. It is also safe for use in food preparation and high-risk areas. In addition, certification under EN13727 (ESBL) and the VAH scheme (medical grade biocides) demonstrate efficacy in risk areas.
